Whenever you are asking about the pay of a occupation, you have to take into account the location from where you work, the company/business that employs you and how long you have been working.

The average pay for a Genetic Counselor is about $80,300 a year. The weekly pay from that yearly salary would be about $1,540.

It depends where you work and if you are working in clinic, a lab, or industry setting… but the average salary of a genetic counselor is about 85,000-90,000 and starting straight out of school is usually 75,000-80,000.
