How does one be successful while in college?

While in college people struggle to make bills and payments each month. How can one make it easier to live and be successful while attending college? #counselor

Hi Jacob!
Life is all about balance. My advice would be to evaluate your goals, your wants and your needs. I always tell my students to shoot for the stars, in regards to applying to at least 4 colleges. Once accepted, review your financial aid package (apply for FAFSA!) and then decide what is best for you. There are work-study programs while living on campus. You can take-on a part-time job to help offset the cost of college. If living at home or with friends (off-campus) makes for a better financial situation, you can commute to campus.
