Where are some good courses for becoming a veterinarian in Memphis Tennessee?

My name is leelah and I love animals and would love to become a veterinarian. I would like to know where are some good schools or programs in Memphis Tennessee that would help me go down this path. #veterinarian

Hi! Being a Veterinarian is a very rewarding career. Vet school is very competitive, and there are only about 30 nationwide. I would look for a good Pre-Vet program for you undergrad work that will prepare you for Veterinary Medical School. You’ll have to research each school individually as many of them do not have prevet programs. If you find a school in Memphis you like then you could major in Biology or another science to fulfill the prerequisites for Vet School. I haven’t come caress any programs in Memphis but there are many nationwide pre-vet programs so maybe start there.

Find Colleges that offer Pre-Vet programs
Find potential Vet schools and research where most of their applicants comes from.
Keep up your grades, and study for the SAT to get into a good college.
