I would like to be an intern for the summer but don't know a law firm that hires a 16 year old junior. #law #communications #communication #intern #pre-law #new-york #junior

Try checking free online job-search websites! some good websites are, Linkedin.com and Indeed.com. If you sign up for an account and fill out the information it will match you with available jobs in the field you want. You could also go to businesses' websites and see if they are hiring.

I would try googling local/virtual career fairs, as well. Career fairs have lots of opportunities to meet, mingle, and network where you could present a resume and a case for why someone should consider allowing you to intern for them. Many offices may not have considered bringing on a high school student as an intern, but being able to talk with them and present a resume of your academic and extracurricular successes could sway them to invest their time, energy (and maybe even money) in you.
