Here's one I've done in the past.

You can write a letter, draw a picture or send a photo to isolated elderly people during COVID.

Hi Dang,
Check out https://www.missingmaps.org/
The American Red Cross runs this program to help map out roads and buildings in foreign countries; mainly for emergency response.
I got a large enough group of volunteers together to have the Red Cross facilitate my volunteer hour with information on how useful our work will be.
Enjoy,
Juan

Hi Dang:

It's awesome that you want to volunteer. Volunteer Match has many virtual opportunities that you could do from anywhere. I suggest that you peruse the site to find out what you're interested in. They have many great areas to choose from. Best of luck to you and enjoy!

I used to use HansonRVA.org. There's virtual and in-person opportunities, as well as, a calendar of all of the events. It's easy to filter for certain types of causes or activities and sign up is simple.

I had a good experience participating in some in-person volunteering efforts through this site - I expect that the virtual opportunities would be well organized as well.

The Birthday Project https://www.thebirthdaypartyproject.org/
Share your birthday! You can share your birthday and organize an online birthday party with others, to support children experiencing homelessness. Projects can include birthday card writing, bundling balloons, collecting presents for these children in need, etc.

Kids Food Basket http://kidsfoodbasket.org

Operation Gratitude
Visit this link https://www.operationgratitude.com/virtual-volunteerism/ and learn more about writing cards of gratitude or making items, like para cord bracelets from home, and mail your completed items to Operation Gratitude.

St Jude Kids
