[closed] What are some common typing hygiene tips for business students?
Hello,
My name is Aimee and I am a business student who wants to have a career in office management. My interest is in business administration, and my concentration of study is in management. So far I have an associate's degree, and I will soon be obtaining my bachelor's degree in business administration. I would like to pursue a career in office management. Some general academic knowledge that I have is in management, marketing, accounting, and customer service. I would like to take the opportunity to ask, "How can I type without the worry of back and shoulder strain that commonly affects office workers?" I would like to enjoy working since I will be doing it for the rest of my life. Therefore, I want to be better at it and push myself to go past my comfort zone. Otherwise, I would not be doing it right :) Are there any ways to minimize physical stress with your hands?
Thank you for your ideas. #business-administration #office-management #job-coaching #typing

Some employers have standards/services which will help setup your workspace in an ergonomic way. Another popular trend is using a desk which can be elevated so you can stand while you work.
Generally, take a break from the PC for a few minutes every hour or two so you can give your eyes a rest.
I've had an office job for 12+ years and have not had any issue with my wrists, neck, back, etc. by just taking a break now and then. Or, naturally when you have meetings in conference rooms you'll get a chance to move around a bit.
Hope that helps!
