[closed] Any quick tips for fast fingers when typing?

Hello,

My name is Aimee and I am on a journey to seek out my calling of management, combined with administration. I am a senior in college and already have an associate's degree in business administration. I love the opportunity to learn from mistakes, to grow as a person, and to have fun with my passion of business. So far, I have limited business applicable principles from the classes that I have conquered. Thus, it would be beneficial to not only myself but others who are like minded to know how to get faster with touch typing. Is it simply something that someone needs to work on? I will not let fear stop me from pursing my career.

Sincerely,
Aimee

Mohamed’s Answer

Curve your fingers a little and put them on the ASDF and JKL; keys which are located in the middle row of the letter keys. This row is called HOME ROW because you always start from these keys and always return to them.

F and J keys under your index fingers should have a raised line on them to aide in finding these keys without looking.

Hi Aimee,
There is no specific training for soft typing and it comes with practice. Gone or the days of learning type writing. you will develop speed once you start using. Even text messaging your friends will naturally improve your speed in a fun way.

Best Wishes
