I can’t speak specifically about MA, but here in Colorado it is quite easy. There’s far more jobs available than competent trades people right now, so it’s pretty easy. For a person with no field experience, the thing we’re looking for most is a RELIABLE, trustworthy apprentice.

After you land your first job, if you establish a reputation as a hard worker that does high quality work, your reputation and coworker network will ensure that you’re always in demand.
