Shoud I post links to my youtube videos on other websites like discord or reddit to try to get more views on them ? I have gotten around 300,000 views on all my videos together.

Monique's answer is very good. I would add that you may need to be careful posting in places like Reddit or Discord because some communities have strict rules against self promotion. You probably should participate in those communities first like upvoting and commenting before trying to post your work. You don't want to be called out as a spammer or something like that. Be sure to check out the rules before post and just be sure to participate in discussion and you should be good.

I recommend figuring out who your audience is first. Be honest with yourself and be specific. Use data from whatever platform you are using. Think about age range, what time are they online, what day of the week are they most active.

Then ask yourself, "where does my audience hang out?" Think broadly and creatively. It may be beyond reddit and discord. Is there another person or channel you can partner with?
