Hi, I am a dental surgeon. Performing dentistry is a very charming and excellent job. If you are going for a dental assistant school it will also be very fun. Try to learn the things in depth. Don't rely on others like they do the procedure and you just be their to observe. Try to observe your teacher and then volunteer yourself to do the procedure. I hope you will like the dentistry. I am not specializing in dental industry, however the advice I am going to give works well in any field or industry.
Have you tried to search any related YouTube videos, register yourself in professional dental groups on social media platforms? There are plenty professionals in every field that would love to share some of their tips and experience with others and for free, :-).

Additionally, if you already know what college you are going, try to find seniors from this college or any other college in your field and send them your question privately through social media, thus you will be able to start making right connections even before you start.
