Sarah’s Answer

At 14, I believe that would be difficult to be paid. Volunteering is a great way to experience a potential career (such as volunteering in a hospital within different areas, such as pharmacy). Many high school programs require volunteer hours, and logging hours could assist in applying for and receiving scholarships. My high school required them. Volunteering as a teen assisted me in ruling out potential career paths and helped me obtain scholarships.

Ann’s Answer

It's difficult to find a paid internship at 14/15 years of age because of work permit requirements, parent / school / physician approval and most firms are seeking college sophomores and juniors. I hope this helps!

Sikawayi’s Answer

Hello Bianna, thank you for your question. I do believe most states have the same age requirement to work as one of their interns and that would be the age of 15. At 15 you are able to apply for your work permit, most companies are looking to hire college students, and I don't think there is any pay involved. Best of luck
