That sort of depends on how you want to use it! Most people get a 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck. If you intend to haul long trailers filled with cattle, you need a strong engine! A lot of people get diesel instead of regular gas. I don't know why!
Whatever you get, make sure to get some schooling in mechanics. Ranchers usually fix a lot of breakdowns themselves!
