Scott’s Answer

You have all kinds of options available depending on what level you decide to pursue. In K-5, you would have the chance to teach multiple subjects. And in middle or high you would teach only a few subjects.

Pamela’s Answer

You have to experience it to decide. I've taught kids, teens and adults, in private and public institutions, and even in higher ed. I personally like teaching teens and adults because of the kind of activities I can plan for the class. I'm a second language teacher, and I've always felt that teaching those ages is a challenge; it keeps me motivated to update myself and keep on learning. But that's just me. I hope you find the way to experience what it is to teach different ages.

Consider those things that are of the greatest interest to you. For example, if you are fascinated by science, you would probably enjoy teaching science.
