A good way to get a better idea of what you want to do when you're older is to focus on the skills and interests you already have. Think about what comes naturally to you. Are you interested in technology and computers, or do you prefer hands-on learning and working with your hands? Understanding your strengths can help you explore careers that fit you. Trade schools and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are great ways to learn about different career paths, and some can be taken while you're still in high school. Online career assessment tests can also help match your interests and skills to potential careers.

Hilary’s Answer

Hi Kaliah,

Thank you for your question.

It sounds to me that to get better doing anything as you get older and be better takes practice. If you do anything for at least two weeks it becomes a habit. Making good choices for your future is important. Practicing behaviors that will help you achieve these goals is important!

Regards, Hilary
