How do you relieve stress?

I know that these majors can be very stressful. I just wanted to know a few ways to relieve stress. #obgyn

I find my most relaxing times are when I take walks in nature around my neighborhood. Exercise, or at the least taking a walk, is a great way to relieve stress.

Furthermore, making sure that you are getting enough sleep and eating right is very important in being proactive in stress management.

Hi Shameka! College can be a very overwhelming time, so it is very important to find ways to relieve stress! In college I found that running alleviated a lot of stress for me. Even going on a quick jog a couple times a week helps to release energy. I also took a meditation class in college. If there are opportunities for you to take different or more fun types of classes, I would encourage trying those! Lastly, having a network of friends, family, and/or teachers that you can go to talk about what is going on with your classes or anything else that gives you stress is really to relieve stress by talking outloud and coming up with solutions. Hope this helps!
