Applying for a job can be very overwhelming if you don't know where to start. First, make sure that you have a great resume to show employers. Most people use templates on Word to create their resume. Second, know what position you want to apply for. When you decide which position you want, add it to your resume under Career Objective.
Now, you are ready to find a job. Look for employers who are hiring for the position you want to obtain. There are many ways to find employment. One way is doing a Google search for jobs near you. Another way is to download all the job apps. Such as, LinkedIn and Indeed. I would also recommend to just go to the business yourself and ask if they are hiring. By going down yourself it shows to employers that you are genuinely interested in their business.
If you are still in college, ask about any internships. Most colleges have job fairs too. Even if you don't see anything that will work for you, you are getting your name out there. I hope this helps! I wish you the best of luck in your job search!

Being proactive is the key to finding a job. If you are still in school, check job boards relevant to your field of study. They are usually posted on campus (business center perhaps).
You want to use all the tools at your disposal. Google and other search engines are your best friends here. You can utilize them to research open positions or find the job postings for your desired company (if you have one). While doing this, create a Linked In account and search there, as well. You will be able to tailor your views and searches based on your skills/experience/interests. Indeed and Glassdoor are also good resources for researching open positions, as well.
Personally, I am a proponent of in-person networking and learning. Look for career fairs in your area and bring your resume. Even if you are not experienced, you will be able to gain transferable skills and knowledge that will help you on the journey. You will be able to speak with professionals and ask questions in real time, while getting a glimpse into what employers are looking for. Pay attention to details and be open to failure. You may not get a call back from a contact at a career fair, but you will have gained experience for the next go around. Good luck!

The best and most simple way to start is to just Google search. Think about what field you want and just research what is out there. For example, if you are looking to work in Finance, search "Finance jobs near me", or "entry level finance jobs". In terms of apps or websites, LinkedIn is a great resource. Some job postings on LinkedIn allow for Easy Apply, which only requires the tap of a button. In that case however, make sure your LinkedIn is up to date. Indeed is another great website to look at and it allows you to filter by location, experience level, etc.

I am a big advocate of LinkedIn. It's the largest networking site and a one stop shop. You can search for groups within your interest areas to network with and gain networking access to employees and companies you find interesting. There are job postings on LinkedIn that you can filter by your job interests as well and apply directly to. Best of luck!

Hi Infinitie
Great Question. I would say great ways to find a job is through job searching websites, apps as well as networking with people. Websites like LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor are a great way to find jobs. (LinkedIn and Indeed being most popular). You can create your free accounts there. Also networking with people helps. Making those relationships with people in industry and connecting with them always helps so when a relevant role opens up, they can ask you or you can reach out to them. You can make great professional relationships on LinkedIn, All the best to you. You'll do great!!!

There are a couple different ways to help find a job.
1) Using resources such as Linkedin, Indeed or even Handshake can help narrow down jobs that suit your interests and skills
2) Your personal network/connects can also help. I remember I got my first internship with a help of a family friend.
3) Internships are also a great way to help land a job and boast your resume and skills
Good Luck!

LinkedIn has proven to be an excellent resource that I've personally utilized, and its benefits have increased as my experience has grown.
It's crucial to remember that many application systems use algorithms to sort submissions. To pass through these filters, it's essential to incorporate appropriate keywords related to the desired position.
Local career fairs, particularly those focused on government jobs, have been quite effective for my acquaintances.
Referrals are another valuable source, as numerous businesses offer incentives to their staff for recommending new talent through a referral program. To expedite the application process, consider reaching out to someone at your target company, introducing yourself briefly, and requesting a referral.
Wishing you the best of luck!

Explore websites like LinkedIn or Handshake (for college students) to connect with potential employers. Companies use these platforms to find suitable candidates for various job openings. Ensure your profile is current and indicates your availability for work. Even as a student, you can create profiles and explore the opportunities that align with your interests and future goals. Your school's career center likely offers guidance on job searching and may have connections with companies seeking new hires. It's never too early to plan for life after graduation, but remember to enjoy your college experience without constantly worrying about the next step. Stay prepared, but also stay present!
