Keyston’s Answer

Starting your own career doesn't hinge on age; it's about your readiness and determination. While college is one route, it's not the only path. Your age can influence your perspective and experiences, adding value to your journey. Taking control of your career doesn't necessarily require waiting; it depends on seizing opportunities and honing your skills. Remember, your journey is uniquely yours, and age is just one piece of the puzzle.

Nicolas’s Answer

You are never too old to start a career. You can do many things to promote, develop, and initiate business right now at the age you are. When it comes to making money you have to believe that the earlier you start working the earlier you'll retire. When it comes to getting involved though, many kids your age are in programs and groups that center around their career focus. If you come to a spot in your life where you think it is time to get paid for what you're doing, remember the hard work it took to plan, organize, and develop things at the age you are- then never give it up.

Great inquiry! While I may not be a legal guru, it's crucial to remember that local labor laws are there to guide you. If you've already pinpointed your career path, you can begin your journey towards understanding its demands at any age. This includes the necessary training, education, and experience.

Remember, age is not just a number when it comes to career progression. It's a measure of the invaluable experience you gain over time. Another aspect to consider is that your energy levels and interests are likely to evolve as you grow older. You might start off with a burning passion for a particular career, only to discover later that your heart lies elsewhere.

But don't let this deter you. There's no need to put your aspirations on hold. Start exploring and learning more about your chosen career field today. It's never too early or too late to prepare for your future.

Niha’s Answer

It definitely depends on what your career path is! No matter how young though, gaining knowledge is always available to you. If you're already decided on a career path, I recommend you gain knowledge of the steps it takes to get there. Get information on what schooling you need, how much it will cost, what expectations the field has for clinicals/internships/IRL experience before they hire you. For example, you might not be able to get a job to get experience, but you might be able to shadow/observe someone in the field. Another option would be to look for peer groups, or to start one (at school or online). Finding likeminded individuals who are your age or a little older can help you decide what the next step to take is, since every field has it's quirks!
