What types of carriers would be best to go right after high school?

What are the best carriers for teenagers?

Hi Sylene!

I think that a great opportunity for a career right after high school is a trade school. Many trades may even pay you while training, and once finished with trade school, your job can become quite stable. Demand for trade professionals is super high and is a great opportunity to start your career!

Best of luck!

Corina’s Answer

There's no definitive answer to this, but don't worry! Start by identifying what truly sparks your interest, what fuels your passion. Then, seek out job opportunities that align with these passions. Consider beginning at an entry level position in a field you love. This not only caters to your interests, but also provides a platform for growth as you accumulate more experience.

Enise’s Answer

Hello Sylene,

Your interests/hobbies may beneficial to think about which career will be the best for you. In terms of your upcoming career journey, you should find out how you can develop yourself, how you will be ready for both the academic year at the university, and your career journey with major companies in your country, and after you completed your extracurricular activities during your academic year at the university, and after you gained soft and hard skills, and emotional intelligence skills, and how you can prepare yourself once you have a plan of your a-route career plan, and how you can deal with other volunteers, interns, or even managers, and how you can move on to the next.

If you have not experienced volunteering, internship, and/or part-time job, you should start for this year or next year. If you have already experienced any of them, you should apply for the job that suits you. Look at the job board and read all descriptions from job announcements. Look at their interests amd match with your interests, their needs (soft and hard skills based needs), and instructions how to apply for them. You must upgrade your CV and Cover Letter even you have barely experienced volunteering and/or internship.

I hope this helps

Ryan’s Answer

I wholeheartedly encourage you to dive into a beginner's sales job. Even if it doesn't align with your ultimate career aspirations, the skills and insights you'll acquire will remain beneficial for a lifetime. You'll not only master the art of making sales, but also understand how to use these skills effectively, and how to respond when you're the one making the purchase. The wisdom, skills, and capabilities you gain will be transferable to any career path you choose to follow later on.

Jeffrey’s Answer

Hey Sylene,

Some of the most successful people I know got into some sort of sales job right after high school or real estate. These are both things you can do while you're still in college/studying and both will teach you the valuable skill of effectively communicating with people of all types, which is probably the most important thing I ever learned.

Trade school as someone else mentioned could also be a good option if selling or real estate doesn't interest you as well.

Do you have anyone in your life that you admire, that's living in a way you'd like to one day, or that you have a good relationship with? These types of people are great mentors and people to get specific advise from as well. If you can back into what you'll actually do by finding people who you admire that are living in a way you'd like to, and get advise from them, it can be very effective.
