Candace’s Answer

Great question. There is a great need for nurses and it is a very stable career path. There is also so much variety and so many different specialty areas to choose from.

However, nursing is not for everyone. In addition to being a honest, caring trustworthy person one must also have high academic achievement. If one likes science, math this is also a great field of study.

Joan’s Answer

Hello Abby!

Nursing is a noble profession that brings a sense of meaning and satisfaction to many. It's no surprise that nurses have been consistently ranked as the most trusted professionals, surpassing even doctors and teachers, for almost twenty years. The allure of a nursing career stems from various factors. Among the most notable are the deep connections formed with patients, the chance to positively impact someone's life, and the myriad career trajectories within the field.

Nurses frequently provide guidance to patients and their families following a heartbreaking diagnosis, share in their joy when they receive positive news, and become reliable confidants. Nursing is not only a highly esteemed profession, but it's also continually evolving. The field is vast, offering you the flexibility to explore different specialties.

The appeal of a nursing career lies in its capacity to offer individuals the chance to truly make a difference in someone's life. This, coupled with the sense of purpose and fulfillment it provides, makes it a profession worth considering.
