Linda’s Answer

Hi Kayla,

First start with your local governing agency. Some counties and states do not allow home baking businesses. You can search by state to see if your state has Cottage Food Laws. You can find the requirements of home baking, what you can and cannot sell, whether or not you can deliver your baked goods, (some states only allow pick up or market sales), the maximum income you are allowed and other pertinent information.

I hope this gives you a starting point and good luck!!
