How do i get into medical school?
I really need to get into medical school but i need to know the process and steps needed for me to get into medical school and i hope to get that here.

To become a doctor, you need to earn a bachelors in any major of your choice (4 years). Popular choices are biology or biochemistry, but it can really be anything. There are a couple of pre-requisite courses though that you need to take before you apply to med school. You would then take the MCAT and apply to med school.
Med school is another 4 years where you will be exposed to different specialties. After med school you choose the specialty you want to be trained in during your residency (3 to 8 years).
You can start positioning yourself for this career path in high-school. Take all the science AP classes you can: chem, bio, phys and math. Maybe add a second language too.
For admission to med school you also need medical experience. So start volunteering or interning with hospitals and doctors. That will give you some people to talk to in the medical field and some insight into medical careers.
Admission committees will of course look at you GPA and your MCAT scores. The average applicant has a pretty high score. But they will also look at extracurriculars, leadership, community service. You also need a compelling essay/personal statement.
During your undergrad studies, make sure you cultivate some professional relationships with your professors and supervisors in your internships. You'll need to solicit some recommendation letters for med school and you want them to remember you positively for a good letter. Talk to people, ask questions, share your interests, act as a class rep etc.
