Actually I want to become data scientist and I am preparing jee for it but I am afraid if my jee will not get clear then what

And also I am confused that should I actually give jee exam because it's coaching is costly so tell me the best way to become data scientist

Hi Naman,

There are tons of resources to learn data science online, e.g. on YouTube, coursera, Udemy, Udacity, 365DataScience, codecamp, FreeCodeCamp etc. Some are free, some are free but you have to pay for a certificate, and some cost serious money. Some people are successful in getting a job with a recognized certificate and a portfolio showcasing their skills.

In most cases though, employers will look for an actual university degree. At least your life will be a lot easier if you have a degree. I have no idea if a certificate + portfolio would open some doors for you in India, but generally I would recommend doing the jee and going to university. The free sites can still be useful to try out if you really like data science and as additional study materials.

Thank you comment icon Hey thanks for your answer and I think to get a degree . But also by searching 50 hours on internet i have found a way to get admission in iit madras by one qualifier which doesn't require jee so should I prepare for jee or for this qualifier exam Naman
Thank you comment icon That sounds pretty good, actually. You'll get 4 weeks training courses for the qualifyer exam. So, that should be doable! Go for it! Karin P.
