What does it take for someone to go into the business field?
I am a high schooler and I wanted be to in the business felid, but don't know what is needed?

Are you inclined towards interacting with customers and selling products or services? If that's the case, a sales role might be the perfect fit. However, if number-crunching appeals to you, a finance role could be more suitable.
Choosing the right company to work for is a crucial decision. It's important to find a company that aligns with your values and ignites your passion for the work you'll be doing. No matter which sector of business you opt for, my advice would be to simultaneously focus on gaining practical experience and furthering your education. They complement each other.
Education equips you with new ideas and concepts, whereas hands-on experience hones your existing skills.

Hello. Someone asked a similar question so I'll share my same response to them. First, congrats on the desire to do something great and even start a business. Vision is an important part of success! You first should determine the type if business you want to have. I'd suggest really thinking about if you want to sell a product or sell a service. Next, consider your customer base...who are you marketing to and who do you want to buy fron you? How will you get inventory, if any, and what price point do you need to be profitable? People have many awesome dreams and goals but they often don't take the time in the beginning to develop a strategy or plan. Start there, and then begin to market your business or service to the consumer you are going after. Good luck!

If you still have another year or more to go in high school before graduation, look at your course selection guide for various options. When I was younger I had so many business related courses available to me without a person encouraging me to take them. Examples for electives when I was grade 9-12 were (by dept):
Business:
Intro to business
Accounting
Economics
Hist:
Intro to law
Public Policy
Current affairs
Digital Tech:
Project management
"Professional" computer applications
Math:
Consumer math
Statistics (it's been required on 4 of my 5 degrees and I never saw it coming!)
Eng:
Speech/Debate
Any of these will allow a foundation for later coursework and fieldwork.
