Hello, Morgan !

Your enthusiasm is refreshing and reflects the ambition and focus you will need for a career in Modeling. To begin this career would depend upon a few things and I'm happy to give you some suggestions.

Since you're ready to begin this journey, you most likely have your professional modeling portfolio and a resume that will allow you to obtain an agent and work in the many venues of modeling: print, runway, high fashion, television, film and commercials. Model representation may work differently from city to city, so before you sign on with one agent, find out if you are allowed to have more than one agent. You'll need to explore this for your particular city.

Your tags also indicate that you are interested in business which shows your versatility and wide range of interest. Once you model for a long period of time and have built up the necessary professional relationships with corporations and industry VIPs, you could then consider opening your own modeling agency and transition to the business end of it. It would be helpful before that if you get formal education in business, but you will learn the particulars of the modeling world as you go along in your modeling career.

Depending on where you live, you can register with some big name modeling agencies which can be found mostly in New York City or in Los Angeles. Submitting your material for representation doesn't automatically put you under contract with the agency, but keep at it and know that it is an opinion business, constantly changing and the trends are sometimes unpredictable. Be as versatile as possible and focus on modeling and camera work. If you live in a small town, visit your town hall and inquire about modeling agencies and advertising agencies. You may be able to submit materials to or visit the ad agencies and submit directly to them as a freelancer.

Become familiar with Model Alliance. This organization can lend you important support as well as provide good resources to you. I left the link to their website below. Also, the website Models may be an additional resource for you. I provided the link to their site for you below. Some internet searches that you may want to do for additional resources would be for a list of modeling agencies in your location and tips about modeling to address your specific questions. You can always return to Career Village for advice on specific concerns that you may have. You can register at modeling websites such as Model Management (link is below), but you will really need to go in person, various office visits to present on site to the people who do hiring. Explore any fashion schools that may need models, too. Visit colleges to see if they are hiring any artists' models.

I hope that this is enough to start you out and I encourage you to always return here to Career Village for your detailed concerns. We are always happy to help. I wish you all the best !
