ICE is a very rewarding career, as HSI special agents investigate over 400 different federal statutes. Early in your career, you will be exposed to several different disciplines such as human trafficking, human smuggling, financial investigations, contraband smuggling, and child exploitation investigations to name just a few. After a few years of experience, you may have the opportunity to work in the area you are most passionate about. What I enjoyed the most is upholding national security and public safety to ensure the safety of citizens all over the world. Best of luck!
