What is the one piece of career advice you wish someone gave you when you were younger?

EMBRACE CHANGE & CONTINUOUSLY LEARN In today’s rapidly evolving world, especially in the tech industry, change is the only constant. Having an open mindset towards change and being adaptable is crucial. This includes being open to new roles, new industries, and new locations, personally I have changed locations 4 times in 7 years to learn more! Moreover, continuous learning is key, but from my experience the tech world is dynamic and what’s relevant today might not be tomorrow. So, it’s important to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies. This doesn’t mean abandoning my roots in accounting and finance. In fact, unique combination of skills can be a strong asset. Many tech solutions are designed to solve problems in finance and having a background in this field can give you a unique perspective. Remember, every step in your career journey is an opportunity to learn and grow. Even if the path seems challenging, it’s these experiences that shape your career and lead to success. So, embrace the journey with its ups and downs, and never stop learning.
