Dia Singleton

Meeks' mama, local artist. I am looking to find an art career that fits my desires. I am enrolled at Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa, and I plan to major in Pre-Art. I am the CEO and Owner of a new local art shop called d1ac0r3. I am into technology and the digital world of art as well as traditional and visual arts. I took visual arts all 4 years at Hillcrest High School instructed by the best teacher, Noel Mills. She is my top inspiration to continue creating, she said that the Lord gives us our brushes to create our own masterpieces. I am a full on believer in the many possibilities of creativity, and I am a sucker for some color on paper, there's nothing that can beat a finished piece on paper. I am also into digital art although I don't have all the right technology just yet. I am a firm believer in all artist's passions and dreams for the Arts, the possibilities are endless and we have all the power to create exactly what we visualize into something bigger (or smaller..) but hey, that's the fun in being an artist.
