How do you handle leaving everyone you know and the comfort of your home to start over completely with no one by your side? How did you overcome this very bittersweet transition?

I am currently in community college but will be transferring in the fall. I am worried that I will not have enough time for my hobbies while keeping my grades up.

I just want to know the difficulty gap between the two things. I've heard a lot from family and friends about how much easier high school was for them and I feel a bit nervous.
