In 2011 I retired from my 25-year career as a reference librarian in a large metropolitan public library. In late 2021 I retired from over 10 years of providing library reference service via online chat mode to users of public, academic, and special libraries throughout the US, UK, and beyond. Retirement is busy with attention to family, friends, and interests including (but hardly limited to!) lifelong learning, self improvement, nonprofit organizations, personal philanthropy and political activism,
