How can I find a summer job in forensics?

I need a summer job!! I'm 14 years old and I am looking for a job/internship in forensics. #forensics #blood-spatter-analyst #crime-scene-investigation #homicide-detective

In all honesty, you will probably not be able to get a job or internship in forensics while still in highschool. Most internship are granted to forensic college or graduate school students majoring in a hard science (biology, chemistry) or forensic science.

You could try contacting some of the labs in Houston or the police departments to see if you can do a tour or volunteer work. There are several labs in the Houston area.

Have you tried job searching websites like monster.com, indeed.com, or even just Google's homepage (https://globalnews.ca/news/4171046/google-job-search-career-automation/)?


Another thing I would suggest is just look up people in your area on LinkedIn - you can search by location (https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/133/filtering-search-results-by-one-or-more-locations?lang=en) and look for people who work in forensics and just send them a message via Linkedin! Tell them your name, how old you are, how hard you'd work, and why you're super excited to learn about forensics. Ask them who gave them their first job opportunity and if they'd be willing to give the same to you! :) Good luck!!
