How can I balance completing my goals with my own personal activities and lifestyle?
I am sophomore and I am looking to accomplish major goals in my life. Although, I still would like to have personal freedom in doing things I like to do such as baseball, the gym, relationships with others, and focusing on my religion. What are some good ways to balance my personal life and my working and education life?

Hey William!
Balancing your goals with personal activities can feel like juggling, but it's totally doable with some planning and intention. Here's a bit of advice to make it all come together:
First off, prioritize. What matters the most to you right now? Is it school, baseball, or maybe your relationship with others or your faith? Knowing where your time is best spent will help you make decisions on how to divide up your day.
Once you have your priorities straight, try scheduling things. Start with the non-negotiables—like school and religious commitments—and then fit in the fun stuff like baseball and gym time. The trick is to give yourself enough time for all areas that are important to you without overloading any one part. If you love baseball but also need time for studying, maybe work out a flexible schedule where you have some off days to focus on one or the other.
Another helpful idea is to set boundaries. It’s so easy to get caught up in doing everything, but without personal time to recharge, you won’t be at your best for anything. Whether that’s a set time for winding down at the end of the day or carving out weekends for family and friends, find your rhythm.
Lastly, don't forget to check in with yourself regularly. Life’s balance changes, and what works one week may not work the next. Adjust, plan, and replan as needed!
You've got this, William! Keep tracking those goals while also living life to the fullest.

Hi William!
Finding balance in life can be tough, but you’ve got this! Remember to always make time for yourself and the things that make you happy. Back in college, I focused so much on studying that I neglected other activities like going to the gym and playing softball. It really affected me, both mentally and physically. Now that I'm working, I've learned from those days and make sure to prioritize activities that I love. For instance, I start my mornings at the gym, which boosts my mood and energy for the day. Even when I was an auditor at a busy accounting firm, I made sure to enjoy my weekends with activities, even during the hectic seasons!

William,
Life doesn't hand out balance — you take it. If you're chasing big goals while holding on to what makes you, you, then you're already ahead of the pack.
Lock in on your priorities like a man on a mission. School? Faith? Baseball? Gym? Line 'em up. Set the schedule. Stick to it. No excuses. The world won't wait for you to figure it out.
Discipline builds freedom. Sacrifice now so one day, you live on your own terms. Some nights you'll be dead tired — good. That's the price winners pay.
Handle your business. Protect your passions. Build your legacy.
Nobody's gonna balance it for you.

This is a question I bet everyone had the answer to. It takes planning and practice / reassessment then planning and practice again.
24 hours in a day
8-9 sleeping
Break everything else down in 30 minute blocks
Write out a schedule for 1 day
See what works for you adjust as needed and try again.
Keep doing that until you are comfortable with a week long schedule
Make sure to leave some empty time. It’s equally important to have nothing scheduled to let you mind recover.
I had to learn this type of scheduling when I got a job that is highly independent I create my own schedule and need to on top of it everyday.
Great skill to learn / put into practice early.

Balancing life can happen in a lot of different ways! I think we all have this question, here is my answer.
The first step is prioritizing your goals. Ask yourself, what is the MOST IMPORTANT goal and, why?
Think about the steps you need to take to reach this goal.
Think about what is most important to you and focus the majority of your time and energy on that. Sometimes, writing your goals out on paper really helps.
You can also think about scheduling out your day:
Monday
7 am - 2 pm: School
2 pm - 3 pm: Gym
3 pm - 5 pm: Baseball
5 pm - 7 pm: Homework
7 pm: Dinner/Family Time/Free Time
Tuesday
7 am - 2 pm: School
2 pm - 3 pm: Gym
4 pm-9 pm: Work
Every person is different in what works for them!

Thank you for your question. This is a question on time management. Firstly, you need to find a time management tool to help, eg Google Calendar, MS Outlook, phone calendar, etc
Below are my suggestions:
1. Put down the time you need to attend classes
2. Assign some time every day for your assignment, project, etc and review the material covered in the class on the day
3. Make sure you have enough time to sleep
4. You can allocate the time for your sports activities, dating, friends & family gathering, etc
5. You may need to assign more time for your revision before assessment
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!
