Ohhh Mia! Look at you already plotting your way to the lawyer life 👩‍⚖️! Love that for you.
Okay, so classes for tenth grade? Honestly, there's no secret "lawyer starter pack" class, but there are some juicy ones that can sharpen that brilliant brain of yours.

First off I had say English. Now yea not just any English class but the one where they make you write essays, debate stuff, and break down every little word like it's a crime scene. Lawyers basically live in the land of words — writing them, arguing them, twisting them. If you can learn how to write like a queen and talk your way out of any situation — you're halfway there already.

If your school has Debate Club or Speech class, well, RUN, don't walk. Nothing builds that lawyer confidence like standing up, making your case, and leaving people speechless.

History, Oh yes. Especially anything with government, politics, or human rights. Law is all about how the world works — who makes the rules, who breaks them, and how to fight for what's fair.

One class people don't talk about enough? Psychology. Because a smart lawyer doesn't just argue — they know how people think. How to read them, what makes them tick... that's your secret weapon in court.

But here's the real tea ☕ it's not just about what classes you take. It's about training your brain to ask why about everything. Why are laws the way they are? Why do some people get justice and others don't? Why did they cancel your favorite show after one season (a crime, honestly)?

Also, 🤔 if your school has anything like Mock Trial or Student Government, jump in. Those little things will give you the kind of confidence that makes people listen when you speak.

You're already thinking ahead, Mia — and that's what makes a killer lawyer. Keep chasing that curiosity, stand up for what's right, and one day we'll be reading about you winning cases and shaking the world up! All the best! 🤗

Hi, Mia! It's great to hear you're exploring different classes. As mentioned before, taking a mix of English and Civics is important. I’d also suggest considering advanced math courses. These classes can really boost your logical thinking skills, which are helpful for crafting strong legal arguments. Lawyers need to think logically every day, so building this skill now will be help you in law school and beyond.

Remember, before you dive into law studies, you'll need to get into college. Colleges love to see students who have pushed themselves in different subjects and have been active in other activities too. You have plenty of time in college to dive deeper into courses, so don't stress about doing it all in high school. Focus on building a solid foundation now, and you'll be ready to grow even more in college.

Good luck!
