As a 22 year old entering college in fall 2025 for the first time and as a freshman, what are some tips for this age level to transition into the college lifestyle?
I have been working full-time since graduating high school, and since giving my life to God, He has given me a passion for medicine, specifically to impact families through pediatric medicine! I will be starting college as a 22-year-old freshman, and I would like tips on navigating student life and work balance, as I will be needing to make money to support myself through school.

You're on a great path! Since you've been out in the working world you have a step up on younger first year college students. And your goal is very commendable. Concentrate on the required courses and any electives that might fit your path, but don't overload your semesters. It's important to have time to study and do well, but be sure to find some time for relaxing, whatever that looks like for you: recreational sport, music, whatever. All study and working can lead to burn out. Find a study group in your concentration, that will help a lot. Don't feel like you have to do it all quickly. You can do it!
Best to you.
