How was college was it not what you expected and was it everything you like?

I would like to know "Reflecting on your college experience, how would you describe it overall? Did it meet your expectations, or were there aspects that surprised you? In what ways did college differ from what you initially anticipated? Were there particular challenges or rewards that you didn't foresee? Additionally, were there elements of your college journey that you found especially fulfilling or enjoyable? How did these experiences shape your personal and academic growth, and what advice would you offer to someone who is about to embark on their own college journey based on your experiences?"

Transition from college to life?

How long does it take you to cope with a new area?

I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos about first day experiences and living in the new dorm in a new environment and most of the people who are taking videos seem pretty confident in themselves. I've never moved before in my ENTIRE LIFE and now all of a sudden I'm getting kicked out and moving to a room for the next four years?! And what about classes? Is it true you don't have classes every day? I changed schools from freshman to sophomore year and I felt like I was going to throw up! At least, I could've gone home... Now home is me...by myself...paying for my own stuff... How long will you be homesick? #college #life-transitions #academic-advising

When I am old enough, should I focus more on serving a mission for my church or getting married?

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and serving a mission to teach the gospel is very important to me. However, I also know that getting married is an essential part of God's plan. As I approach the age at which I will be able to serve a mission, should I be focusing more on serving the Lord or on maintaining the close friendships I may develop at college, that could eventually lead to something more? #missionary-work #marriage #college #life-transitions

I attend Lexington High School which is very academically stressful and competitive. How do you find out the requirement for transferring out of state?

For example California has assist.org which tells you the specific classes admissions and records like to see in transcripts when transferring from let's say a community college to a UC or private school. However assist.org only works for colleges within California. I am from California and would like to transfer to Western Washington University. I have called and spoke to councilors at WWU however, they only have given me a generic broad overview of what they like to see. So my question is what is a useful tool that can help transferring out of state easier and can help direct the student in letting them know they are taking the right classes. #Transfering #OutOfState #Washington #psychology #HelpPlease #LifeChanges #life-transitions
