Should I make friends in college?
There are people that say you shouldn't be close to others because one day we would all split up, no matter how close you are. There's others that say that you should make friends so that your college life wouldn't be as lonely and not fun as it should be. What do you think?

I am a senior in high school, and I struggle to make new friends because of my anxiety. I often feel like I need to change myself to suit others around me. I want to find my people and be able to stick with them with the confidence that they will always be there for me and not betray me or ignore me, like has happened in the past.

I am a senior and I have dream of either going to LSU or University of Arkansas. However, a lot of people from my school go to LATECH or ULM and I want to stay with my friends who mean a lot to me but I don't know if I want to go there. Also, I could probably go to LATECH on a full ride scholarship but I would probably have to take out a loan, not too big, to afford LSU or UARK. update: I got into LATECH with a scholarship for 18000 for all 4 years. Then adding the TOPS scholarship I will get another $6353 per year. I am also working to get more scholarship money. With just these two scholarships, I will only have to pay about 10,000 a year
If you could redo life, what would you do differently?
I've been thinking a lot about decisions, how one small choice can change the entire direction of your life or career. Sometimes it's a job we didn't take, a subject we didn't study, a passion we pushed aside, or even a person we stopped having a relationship with. Not asking for regrets, just real moments of reflection.
Am I rich in life in terms of relationships and memories #Spring 25?
I want to think about who was there for me and kept me going even when times are hard. Who is there to help me make the most memories and make me laugh even when I was sad. Rich in life in terms of not having physical money, but more so relationships and memories that you’ll learn to forever cherish
What is the most beneficial way to go about school, living on campus or commuting from home/taking online classes?
Please give me the best answers and use examples to help me understand even more! For more reference, I am debating on what to decide for the future. If I stay at home or commute, I have a job that I can work at. I will also be able to spend more time with my family and friends. But, if I live on campus, I will make new friends and not have to worry about living with my parents. I will get to have my own freedom away from home, but I feel like I will be missing out on spending time with my old friends and a job opportunity.

I'm a DoDEA student, meaning I've lived overseas for a majority of my life. My friends are all going to different colleges in different states. I'm nervous to make friends and I'm not really sure how to, especially knowing how big the schools are and the amount of people there will be. How do I begin going out on my own when I have absolutely no friends?
As someone who has no friends, I feel ashamed of going out. I know it sounds weird, but it is what it is. It's not that I don't want to have fun and meet people, but I am afraid. I hate that I don't really have friends. I think learning these skills will help me develop soft skills such as communication and confidence, which will help me from a career perspective.
How do you find friends who will be a good influence on you in high school?
I know a lot of people at my school and I'm unsure of how to weed out the ones who won't be great influences on me down the road. And once I figure out which ones I want to keep as friends, how do I respectfully distance myself from the ones I don't want to be friends with? Or should I try to be friends with everyone? My strategy right now is if they don't have some kind of rational plan for the future and what they want to do in life, then I probably shouldn't be friends with someone. What I define as a "plan" is an idea of what they want to do when they graduate, or at least a college they would like to go to, and good grades at the bare minimum.

What is a best way to get help from teacher or students?
For A Example, having anxiety or being nervous doesn’t make you a loser and plus if your getting picked on don’t care about it just ignore it and think smarter. Plus, new people will get used to it in the school and in the future they won’t be scared or have anxiety anymore, but when you ask for help from students and teachers they will help you. You can also develop friendship in a table group by helping each other out #friends #shy
