What are some STEM based Internships and/or abroad programs I can participant in as a senior in high school?

I'm currently a senior in high school, and have intentions to major in mechanical engineering (BS). What are some internship or study abroad programs that I can take summer of 2026 before I start college that would help boost my skills, experience hands-on research and/or projects, and learn in a college setting to prep for my freshmen year? It doesn't have to be about engineering, I'm open to any STEM based programs. #Fall2025

How can I prepare and strategize to land an internship in Analytics Engineering?

I’m trying to break into Analytics Engineering and would appreciate guidance. I have a 5-year educational gap, but during that time I worked in a non-profit organization. Now I want to transition into this field and I’m aiming for at least an internship to start. What should I focus on learning , and what strategies/projects would help me stand out despite my gap? Any tips on building a portfolio or presenting myself better to recruiters would mean a lot.

UX/UI Designer V.S Web Developer

To all professionals reading this post, thank you for your precious time! I just started my journey in coding (HTML/CSS/Javascript) three months ago, I love it and I experience the so-called 'flow' state when I'm coding. (definitely a great sign!) I was wondering if you could share some career advice or your experiences in the tech industry? Why did you choose to become a web developer rather than a UX designer or UI designer? (or vice versa) Thank you so much! #computer-science #computer #technology #UX #UI #WebDev #Webdeveloper #HTML #CSS #JS #Designer #Career #Coaching #mentorship #Women-in-tech #computer-science #information-technology
