I am a student of grade XII interested in CS engineering What colleges would u recommend apart form IITS/NITS?

I am giving entrance exams but don't have enough knowledge about many good colleges apart from the top IITS or NITS

Hi Aashi, you are lucky to be native of Pune - which is called Oxford of east.. then there are lot of well known , reputed and well established colleges in pune - like COEP , MIT , VIT , PICT for pursuing the career Computer sci field. It will also provide you with campus opportunites where you will get job directly while pursuing your engineering.

These both appear to be fine schools in India. I am not familiar with either but you can research these and determine which school would give you more financial support and has the courses available and faculty you like in your areas of interest. Get in contact with both, explore them, and see what seems better to you. Keep in mind that if you are going to be a hardworking, dedicated, serious student (and I HOPE this is your plan), you should be able learn a lot anywhere you study. Many schools are good. It is more about what YOU put into your learning that matters more than the school you are at.

All Pune colleges are good enough. I have taken my education from Pune and certainly not like IITs. You will get good opportunities from Pune colleges, and you can review whether there is campus placement happening for that college, then it becomes more easy to start internship. I kicked off my career from college internship. Overall do not worry and good skills with good academic score will help you a lot!
