How do you get a scholarship set up?
I am a 56 year old Female going to college for the first time. Unfortunately, many people from my generation didn't get to go to College. We are now attempting it, however with a lifetime of bills, dependents, houses, etc., it would be lovely if there was a scholarship geared toward helping us most forward .

I suggest two places to look for scholarships:
1. The Fastweb website, which is an excellent portal to find scholarships for people with specific life situations (such as being a certain age or having certain hardships) and,
2. The financial aid section of your preferred college'(s)' website(s). There should be some information about what scholarships are available from that particular college or university as well as contact information for that institution's financial aid department.
If you aren't sure where you want to pursue your education just yet, it might be a good idea to start with Fastweb and/or a general Google search to see what options are out there. You can also figure out what schools are most affordable to you at this time in your life.
Best of luck to you!
Check out ScholarshipOwl or College Board (BigFuture) databases for more scholarship options.
Ask colleagues, family members, or friends who did go to college—particularly later in life—what options were available to them to afford school and what financial strategies they used.
