Where are some ideal locations to look for scholarship opportunities as someone who is transitioning from undergraduate to graduate level studies in another state #Spring25?
Moving to another state can be a very different experience with little support from people from your hometown. Is it valid to seek financial security when moving to a new place?

Hello, Harry !
If you would have mentioned what state you'll be moving to as well as what you will major in for your masters Degree I could have referred you to some specific grants and scholarships for your Masters Degree. So I will give you some general information to get you started for possible assistance with graduate school.
There are some circumstances in which you can apply for Federal Student Financial Aid for your Masters Degree. You would have to be enrolled at least half time (or more) in your Major Program and takes courses that apply to your Masters Degree. That assistance is given in Loans.
To apply for Grants, Work Study(or Loans) you would complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid application. how much you borrowed in loans for your Bachelors Degree will have bearing on how much you're eligible for. Federal Pell grants are only for undergraduate students. There are a couple of grants given, one for students studying education and the Fulbright Grant which have specific Major requirements, so I don't know if your major matches up to them. Have a conversation directly with your new school's financial aid officer who has expertise with this and will provide accurate, up to date information on this.
There are some websites that have scholarships and/or grants for students studying in graduate school. Some of these are Bold dot org, Sallie dot com, Scholarships360, Sallie, Scholarships for Master’s Degrees, and the Forbes websites provides information about scholarships for graduate school. Many scholarships are State specific and you didn't give that information but you can still do the searches since you'd know. You may have to be a resident of that state for 12 months or more to apply for those, but it can be done for the second year of your Masters since you will have lived in the new state for a year by then. Many of the scholarships are also college specific also.
Be specific when doing a search for these online. You can also search for scholarships and grants at the websites of companies connected to your major. More can be found based on ethnicity at the Discover website and Online Masters Degrees website. I am unable to write a website link on this Career Village website, but see the websites below.
I do hope this helps. When requesting information online, be specific about your circumstances when it comes to applying for scholarships and grants. Always contact the school's Financial Aid Office to verify any information you receive on the internet. Best wishes in all you do !
