What was the most important factor or thing that you did that made you more competitive when applying to dental school?

Were there any clubs, activities, internships, etc. that made you stand out as an applicant and allowed you to get into the dental school of your choice?

The most important factor for acceptance into dental school is college grades and entrance exam scores (DAT). You have to be on the high end to be competitive to get into the school of your choice. Minor factors include evidence of artistic talent, evidence of leadership, and a genuine interest in the field. Personality plays a role too during the interview process, good social skills are important. Best of luck to you in your journey.
