Is the University of Pittsburgh law school a good law school?
If I want to go into law school after undergrad, is doing the 3+3 program worth the time and money?

Hi Eldana:
Short answer - yes. U of Pitt is a very good law school!
The second part of your question is more interesting! Is it worth the time and money? That will depend on what you want to do with your degree.
I have never known anyone who was arrested asked to see his/her lawyer's diploma when they go in search of help. Those folks just want to know if the lawyer can get them off!
If you are looking for a job at a prestigious law firm then it does matter. Firms look. Alumni organizations help grads. Where you go will matter!
Bottom line - see what you and your family can comfortably afford. You do not want to go into too much debt or you'll be forced to take jobs to pay the loans off.
One other thing, law school is great fun - hard work but fun! It pushes you to think differently and reach into yourself to see what things are important. You will enjoy it - no matter where you go!
