What is the best way to study to ensure that I do well in all of my college classes?

Doing well in my classes is very important to me and I’m afraid that even though I have all A’s right now and have a 3.95 GPA, that once I get to college, I won’t do as well as I’m doing in high school. So, I’m just wondering the best techniques for studying in college to ensure that I do well in my college career.

Hi Mackenzie,

Congratulations on your amazing academic achievements so far and your decision to continue your studies in college! Believe in yourself—you have already proven you can succeed, and you’ll do great in this new chapter.

Keep doing what works for you. You don’t need to completely change your study habits for college, but be open to making small adjustments as needed.

General advice: Make sure to get plenty of sleep, eat healthy, exercise, and take care of yourself. Build friendships and explore interests outside of your studies.

Study advice: Connect with your professors, seek help from them, TAs, and classmates when needed. Consider forming a study group for tough subjects. Manage your time wisely to focus on what’s important, try to stay ahead in your work, and avoid falling behind.
