What career path innovations are needed to keep pace with the rapid evolution of technology and industry, and ultimately the world?

As we all know, the world is rapidly evolving, which makes me wonder how can we as a whole keep up? How are we supposed to plan our careers when the jobs we may have might not exist yet?

Some things you can do to keep pace are to focus on developing transferable skills such as communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and technical literacy to stay competitive. Continuous learning like micro-credentials, and certifications are also beneficial. Build your personal brand and online presence to showcase your growing skills and be prepared to pivot and remain adaptable in navigating changes.

Hi Suman! Great question. I think something companies and industries are looking for these days are people who are flexible and adaptable to change. To your point, things are rapidly evolving, so it's tough to know exactly what is coming next. I think pending on what field you are interested in getting into, you may want to sign up for some newsletters that highlight the trends and any key technologies/programs that are useful to know in that field. Also, there are so many free resources you can utilize (YouTube, Google, free trials of LinkedIn learning) to learn new skills all the time! Best of luck to you :)
