I suggest you start investigating internships as early in your time at school as possible. You’ll want to understand how your school’s program works including how to apply, minimum requirements, and deadlines associated with internships.
Once you know more about your school’s program, you will be better able to plan for your internship journey.

I totally agree! My early jobs, whether internships or not, gave me important basic skills. Every job you get will teach you something new. Good luck! 😊

I had an internship in sophomore and junior year. The sophomore year internship helped me to land the better internship in junior year and the junior year internship led to my full time job offer. I recommend getting an internship as early as you can and trying out a few different experiences. The variety of experiences will be helpful in guiding you toward the career path you want and make you more attractive to future employees.
Research internships as soon as possible!
