Hi Emmaline,
During the last year of college you should solidify relationships with professors in case you want letter of recommendations for future schooling or even to use as a solid reference for job applications. You can also start applying 3-4 months before graduating so you have a job once you’ve graduated. If you wait until after you graduate there will be more competition for popular jobs. Also practice interviewing so it’s easier to land a job. A good interview will get you into a job a lot quicker and it shows that you’re a prepared candidate. It might take a couple interviews to land a job so practice really helps.
Hope this helps!

Hi Emmaline,
Congratulations on reaching the final stretch of your studies—what an exciting milestone!
If you're planning to enter the workforce after graduation, be sure to visit your institution’s career services office. They can help you refine your résumé, prepare for interviews, and explore job opportunities. It's also a great idea to connect with your academic department and attend events like job fairs, workshops, and networking sessions—these are valuable chances to meet potential employers and expand your professional network.
And don’t forget to take time to celebrate! Your institution will be hosting end-of-year events to honor student achievements, so be sure to enjoy those special moments with your peers, faculty, and staff. You've earned it!
