What is a good studying strategy for all the teacher license tests?

There are a lot of tests and I want the best possible chance to be fully prepared not having to pay for retakes.

If you're currently at university, your university library may have resources such as Mometrix which will provide you study materials for free when accessed through the university library! Ask your librarians to see what resources they have. You should also contact your local public library and see what resources they can offer you. Public libraries often have lots of online resources and study guides.

Good luck!

Mittie’s Answer

Study smart not hard, you want studying to feel like a vacation, in other words you want to it feel fun and seem fun not boring, you can study all day and still fail the mind should be relaxed and in a happy curious mood, you retain more without even having to think about it, at that point you should be able to skim through and retain more information about your topic.

Mittie recommends the following next steps:

Study for 30- beak a hour and take a walk
Browse what your studying on the internet on one of your breaks you’ll be glad you did
Set your alarm study for hour-break relax and breathe
Study for 30-minutes break call a classmate discuss your findings
Study for hour four chapters ahead and four backwards

Hi Kylee,
You may want to check your states Department of Education website. They have information to guide you about testing requirements as well as how to prepare. Also, here is the study plan from Praxis. Look over the topics covered and see how comfortable you are. This will tell you what you should focus on from greatest to least understood.

Since I am not sure which tests your state requires, you can find on DOE website. Here is another resource to look into for guidance on most required tests. https://study.com/buy/test-prep/praxis.html?src=ppc_adwords_nonbrand&rcntxt=aws&crt=725080642929&kwd=praxis%20study%20guide&kwid=kwd-429917435&agid=171643176669&mt=p&device=m&network=g&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=10275745169&gbraid=0AAAAADjpCfSH8DC4uzL1I3vbN5lgoh9tQ&gclid=Cj0KCQjw_dbABhC5ARIsAAh2Z-RXFR7ytWBvO1xiJjHsTNWisYdlefi9gkttN--WeHfyr9dzCV8L7n4aAhggEALw_wcB
