I agree with Cate—you're already on the right track by highlighting your key skills! Focus on the important words in the job description and match them with the skills you’re great at. Teamwork is a fantastic skill to showcase, as an example.
Companies are eager to see how you can help them succeed and reach their goals. Use bullet points to list your skills and experiences. Remember to include any volunteer work too. Keep it clear and focused on you, and try to fit everything on one page.
When you review your resume, think about what the employer wants to see. Be confident!

You’ve off to a great start with how you’ve described yourself in the question! Sometimes it’s helpful to think about skills that you think would make you successful in the role you’re applying for. And if you haven’t worked in that specific role before, think about a similar situation that you may have experienced, how you handled it and how you see it applying to the role you’re applying for. You got this!

That's an excellent question! Showcasing your skills in a positive and professional manner can really make your resume shine, especially when applying for your first job. Here's how you can list your skills to enhance your resume:
Sample Skills Section for Your Resume:
Skills
Outstanding communication: Capable of interacting clearly and politely with team members and customers
Fast learner: Quickly grasp new tasks and processes with accuracy
Driven and reliable: Always arrive on time and ready to contribute
Team player and motivator: Inspire and support others to excel
Respectful and professional: Treat everyone with kindness and adhere to guidelines
Tips:
Use active, positive words like "outstanding," "quickly," and "always."
Whenever possible, back up your skills with short examples (in your application or during an interview) showing how you've applied them—perhaps in school clubs, group projects, or volunteering.
For entry-level jobs, employers highly value a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and reliability.
Wishing you the best on your job search!
