Hi Camil. Goals give you direction and help you stay focused, especially when you're learning something new. First, you need to think about what kind of art you like. Do you enjoy drawing, painting, digital art, or maybe sculpture? Choose one or two types to focus on, and make it your goal to practice regularly.
A good first goal is to create art often. You could aim to draw or paint a little every day, or set a goal like finishing one artwork each week. This will help you build a habit and improve your skills over time.
Another helpful goal is to learn from others. You could watch videos, read books, or take online classes about art techniques. Try to set a goal to learn something new each month.
You can also set goals to share your work. Maybe you can share it with friends, post it online, or join an art group. This helps build your confidence and lets you connect with other artists.

Hi Camil!
Art IS a fun hobby! There are all kinds of artists, so you might want to be a little more specific. It's kind of hard to answer this, so I'll just tell you what's helped me. My childhood goal was always to be an artist when I grew up, but I didn't know what that was, exactly--now I know I wanted to make all kinds of things with my hands, which I do now.
Stay curious--become a lifelong learner. The most creative artists are always trying new things, investigating new ideas and ways of doing things, and the history of their craft.
Develop good work habits. People think that successful artists are wild and free, but the opposite is true. They're only wild and free creatively because they have a structure for their lives that enables them to experiment in the studio.
Learn how to make mistakes without beating yourself up. Experiments often don't yield the results we expect or want, so it's important to keep fresh eyes and a sense of curiosity about whatever the end product can show us.
Practice, practice, practice. The more you practice your chosen craft, the more skilled you'll be. And you might find that you excel in a specific thing and decide that's what you want to pursue--then you can set specific goals more easily.
Hope this helps. I know I didn't exactly answer your question.

Hello Camil,
There are many different types of goals that you can have when it comes to being an artist. They can be personal, career or a certain direction that you want to go with your artwork like whether it is more casual or more serious. Some goals you can focus on are improving on your technique/skills, setting time to draw, setting what you want to get out of your artwork or things like networking with other artists. It is up to you to decide what your goals are and hopefully you are able to find direction with your artistry!

Camil,
Art is definitely fun and can be a creative way to express yourself and bring vibrancy to life. Some suggestions:
1. Take inspiration from everything in your environment
2. Find your Niche - Narrow down what kind of art you want to focus on build on that.
3. Practice makes perfect
4. Keep your mind to learning and growing in your skills.
Wish you all the best.

Hey there!
Your closer to becoming and artist than you think! I recommend trying different types of art. For example, paintings, drawings, 3d art such as sculptures or diorama's (this is my favorite) and see what you like the most!
You should try to get your art some publicity such as in magazines or art contests. You will find that some school or nature magazines such as "Nature Friend" are always taking drawings people send in to publish in their magazines. You will also find that many county fairs or church's host art contests and these are a great way to get a good start and some background. Like you said above, art is a great hobby!
Hope this helped and good luck! :)

Hey Camil,
It is nice to hear that you are looking to create some goals as an artist. Art is something that you can enjoy and take as seriously, or not seriously as you would like. You can set your own goals or standards according to what you find important within your work and where you want it to live. One of the main aspects of being an artist is continuous creation. To keep making, even if the piece does not turn out to be your favorite. The more you make, the more you will progress as the identity of your art and yourself as an artist. The practice will make progress, not always perfection. Get in the habit of creating as much as what works for you and your goals. This can be once a week, to once a day, to all day, every day.
Many artist find community within art gatherings like galleries, live performances, showrooms and more. If you are looking to seek community, start to find where artist near you are meeting. Look out for galleries large and small, local or known. See what might be right for you and your work, and eventually you can aim to show your work at galleries. Making connections is a great way to find places were you can display your work. This can get you connected into the world of art if you so choose.
Best of luck on your journey!
