Hello,
Great for your knowing what you want to do! Well there are many things you can do in the medical field from administration to counseling to the actual practice if medicine. Health and mental are one of the same essentially. So here are some more possibilities not yet mentioned from above: medical coder, radiologist, EMT, medical assistant and researcher. That are plenty of things you can do. Best of luck, keep on soaring!

Hello Aizah. There are several good career options that pay well and offer meaningful work. One great option is a registered nurse (RN). You can become an RN with an associate degree in nursing, which usually takes about two to three years. Nurses are in high demand, and they earn good salaries while working in hospitals, clinics, and schools. If you decide to study more later, you can continue your education to become a nurse practitioner or specialize in certain areas.
Another good choice is a dental hygienist. This career usually requires a two-year associate degree. Dental hygienists clean teeth, take X-rays, and educate patients on oral health. They often work regular hours and earn excellent pay.
You might also consider becoming a radiologic technologist, who performs imaging tests such as X-rays. This career typically takes about two years of schooling.
If you prefer working in a lab, medical laboratory technicians prepare and test samples for doctors. This role also requires about two years of education. For those interested in direct patient care, occupational therapy assistants and physical therapy assistants help patients recover from injuries and improve mobility, these jobs pay well and usually need only two years of schooling.

Hello, Aizah !
It's wonderful that you want to pursue a health or medical career and do not want the lengthy path that it would take to become, say, a medical doctor. You also want a "well paying" career which would be impossible to predict as that depends on many things. That being said, medical and health related careers in general are usually well paying. Your pay would depend on your employer(s), whether you have one job or more than one job, your location, city, suburb or rural. It just depends on too many things to say what the salary would be or if it fits in your category of well paying.
I would highly recommend going for a Bachelors Degree which is only a four year duration. There are many jobs that you can obtain with the Bachelors Level which is higher than the two year Associates Degree. The Bachelors would suit you if you are concerned about salary, too.
The following fields usually offer strong salaries for those who have a four year Bachelors Degree: Pharmaceutical Data Scientist, Medical and Health Services Managers, Healthcare Data Analyst, Clinical Trial Manager, Medical Perfusionist, Registered Nurse, Transplant Coordinator, Biomedical Engineer, or Radiation Therapist. These careers often require a Bachelor’s Degree in fields such as health informatics, data science, biomedical engineering, health administration, or life sciences, and many offer significant growth potential and job security. So with your Bachelors Degree, which takes four years, you can work in clinical, technical, managerial, and data focused fields. If you decide to go for a Masters Degree which would be two additional years after the Bachelors Degree, let us know and we can suggest some Master level careers which inevitably have even stronger salaries in general.
So to not have an extended period of time at college, you can go for two, four or six years, keeping in mind that the more advanced degree you obtain might determine a stronger salary.
I hope this helps and I wish you all the best !
