Wong’s Answer

One of the biggest ways college affects your future is by teaching you independence. In high school, your schedule is mostly set for you, and your parents help guide what you do. But in college, you are in charge of managing your time and responsibilities. You'll learn how to balance school, work, and personal life, which is something that will help you as an adult. These skills are important for your future career and everyday life.

College also introduces you to new people and ideas. In high school, you mostly interact with people from similar backgrounds. But in college, you meet people from different cities, cultures, and countries. This helps you see the world in a new way. You learn to think more critically, listen to different viewpoints, and appreciate diversity. These lessons will make you a more thoughtful person and will help you work with others in your career.

Moreover, college will change the way you think about your future. You'll start thinking more about your career goals, your finances, and what kind of person you want to be.

Great question! Other than the obvious of preparing you for a career, college may offer opportunities to meet lifetime friends. It may also give you a chance to learn life skills from others and open your mind to various cultures, religions, and beliefs. You might meet a certain someone who will have a lasting impact on your life.

Whatever you do, enjoy life and stay blessed!
